Goals and why

What you will learn

  • what the icons in the top bar do, from order search and new order to Price check and My last orders
  • read the notification centre and see what is under Action required
  • find your profile, language, password and dark mode
  • open the help for the page you are on

The top bar is the same on every page in Frakt24. It gives you the most common tools without leaving the job you are doing.

The notification centre shows what is waiting for someone, for example emails that did not arrive. If it is left there, the customer notices before you do.

Key terms

Top barThe row of round icons at the top right, which is on every page.
ShortcutAn icon that opens a tool directly, for example new order or order search.
Alerts (notification centre)The bell that gathers what needs action and your latest notifications.
Action requiredThe list in the notification centre of things waiting for someone, with a count on each line.
Profile menuThe menu under your picture, with My profile, My settings, Change my Password, Dark mode and Logout.
Help drawerThe panel opened with the question mark, with the help article for the page you are on.

Trainer notesOnly shown when trainer mode is on
  • Which icons appear in the top bar depends on the client's modules and the user's permissions. Rentals, Quotes, Dashboard (module 59), Timesheet and the map (module 19) are missing for customers without those modules.
  • The Action required lines also follow the modules: Deviations, Reporting, Quotes and Companion Car Requests only appear with the right module. EDI error log, EHF-Invoice Errors and Email Errors always appear.
  • Dark mode is stored in a browser cookie, so the choice must be made again on a new PC or in another browser.
