Stock and outbound transport

Goals and why

What you will learn

The stock is the waste stored on site, per fraction. It is everything weighed in, minus everything driven out, plus any adjustments. It shows what is there now, and what soon needs to go.

When the waste is to leave, you register an outbound transport to a receiving facility. The load is deducted from stock and shows up in the settlement for the facility. If you forget to register the removal, the stock shows waste that no longer exists. You then also have nothing to reconcile the facility's statement against.

  • The Recent stock movements tab only shows outbound transports and adjustments, not weigh-ins. The manus says "every movement"; the code filters on direction out and adjustment.
  • Order transport opens the regular order form. The order is only saved when the user saves it there, and the booking then appears under Awaiting pickup.
  • The setting Require signature on the delivery reporting for outbound transports controls whether the driver must sign when the load is delivered.
