Goals and why

What you will learn

  • register the weigh-in with vehicle, customer and gross weight
  • weigh out and split the net weight into fractions
  • choose the right settlement method for the customer
  • what the system creates when you complete the session

How to get there

  1. Click the icon with the hanging weight at the top right of Frakt24. When you hover over it, it says Weight station.
  2. Click New weigh-in at the top of the weight station when the vehicle drives onto the scale.
  3. When the vehicle is back, find it under Open sessions and click Weigh out.
  4. If you don't see the icon, you are missing access or the module. Ask your administrator.

The inbound delivery is the most important job at the scale. The truck is weighed in loaded. Then it unloads and is weighed out again. The difference is the net weight. That is what the customer delivered. You split it into fractions, which are the waste types the customer pays for, for example residual waste.

The numbers you enter become the basis for the invoice. If you split the net weight wrongly, the customer gets the wrong price, and the stock, the waste stored on site, gets the wrong figures. That is why the system stops you until the fractions add up exactly to the net weight.

Key terms

Gross weight inThe weight of truck and load when the truck drives onto the scale. You read the scale and type the number yourself.
Weight out and net weightWeight out is the truck after unloading. Net weight is weight in minus weight out. That is what the customer delivered.
Stored tare weightTare weight is the weight of the empty vehicle. The stored tare weight comes from an earlier clean weigh-out. You can use it instead of weighing out again, as long as it is not too old.
Registered customer / Cash customerA registered customer gets their agreed prices. A cash customer only needs a name and phone. The customer card is created when the session is completed.
Allocate remainderThe shortcut that puts the rest of the net weight on a fraction line.
Weigh slipA PDF with the weights and fractions. It is attached to the order when the session is completed.

Trainer notesOnly shown when trainer mode is on
  • The tare weight is stored automatically only the first time the truck is weighed out cleanly: no trailer, no container and without using a stored tare. An existing tare weight is not overwritten.
  • The settlement method only works correctly when Cash, Card, Vipps and Invoice are mapped to payment methods in the weight station settings. Check that first in a support case about the wrong payment method on the order.
  • The order created has no transport and sends no order confirmation email.
