Client settings
Learn what the tabs in the client settings control, and which settings you must plan before you change them.
Goals and why
What you will learn
- what each of the twelve most common tabs contains
- where you enter company details, bank account and accounting setup
- where you set the defaults for orders, goods and the driver app
- why the invoice start number, KID format and export format must be planned
How to get there
- Click Settings in the top menu.
- Choose Client settings.
- If you cannot see the menu item, or it has a padlock, you lack access. Ask your administrator.
The Client settings are your company's basic setup in Frakt24. They decide how the system behaves for all users. Good defaults save the dispatchers work on every order. The right accounting setup makes the invoices land correctly in accounting.
You can change most settings at any time, but three must be planned. Once the first invoices exist, the invoice start number can only move the number series forward. If you change the KID format, payments can stop matching automatically. If you change the export format, you must always test an export. Also remember that fields and switches are only saved when you press Save.
