Goals and why

What you will learn

  • create a resource and choose the right type: employee, hired or partner
  • connect the driver to the FleetX app in the right order
  • make the resource ready for the settlement with Generate settlement and a percentage
  • register a vehicle with deadlines, and add absence when it is in the workshop

A resource is everyone who drives for you: your own employees, hired drivers and partner companies. All are registered on the same resource card. If the card is filled in well, the dispatcher can assign orders to the resource. The resource becomes visible in the FleetX app and is paid correctly in the settlement. The vehicles are registered separately in the assets register (Assets). The resource is linked to the vehicle on the card's Vehicle tab.

The most common mistakes are costly. If you set the app as default channel before the driver has connected, the driver gets no orders. If the percentage on the Finance tab is 0 and the price lines have no percentage of their own, the payout is 0. How the dispatcher plans on the vehicles in the calendar is covered in the dispatcher course.

Trainer notesOnly shown when trainer mode is on
  • Settlement (the Finance tab) requires module 26, the subcontractor register and company link module 64, the assets register module 24 and the FleetX app module 45. The test tenant does not have the subcontractor module.
  • Never create TMS users for drivers. The driver gets access to the FleetX app through the connection request to their personal email.
  • Good demo point: the key figures on the resource card and the vehicle card with the QR code for check-in.
