Goals and why

What you will learn

  • the steps a job goes through, from order to invoice
  • who does what: administrator, dispatcher, driver and finance
  • where in the menu you find each step
  • why what you do affects your colleagues

Everything in Frakt24 is connected. The administrator sets up prices and options. The dispatcher uses them when the order is entered and sent to a driver. The driver confirms in the app, and finance creates the invoice from what is on the order.

When you know where you are in the chain, you understand why some fields must be filled in, and where to look when something doesn't add up.

Key terms

OrderOne job for a customer, with stops, goods, time window and price.
ResourceWhoever carries out the job: your own driver, a hired resource or a subcontractor. The vehicles are in a register of their own.
Service typeHow the job is carried out, for example distribution, express or crane. Controls the price and can add fixed stops.
Vehicle typeThe kind of vehicle the job requires. Used to filter and match against resources.
ProductThe price rule that calculates the order price automatically. The result becomes price lines, and the price group on each line decides the VAT rate and the ledger account.

All correct completes the lesson
Answer all correctly to complete the lesson You see which answers are wrong, and you can try as many times as you like. This lesson counts towards the level 0 badge in Shared: 0 of 2 complete.
1. An order has been driven, but it doesn't show up when finance generates invoices. Where should you look first?

2. What decides which VAT rate and ledger account a price line gets?

3. Which two money flows come from the same driven order?

4. The driver has checked off all the stops in the app. Who takes the order further along the chain?

5. You are entering an order, but the service type the customer needs is not in the list. Where does it have to be added?

6. Where in the menu do you create the resource settlement, that is, what drivers and subcontractors get paid?

You are not signed in, so the result is not saved.
