Goals and why

What you will learn

  • open the order screen and find your way around its parts
  • what the difference between Parked and Ready is
  • read the price lines and set «Ready to invoice» once the price is checked
  • find printouts, files and the log in the toolbar

How to get there

  1. Click Dispatch in the top menu.
  2. Double-click an order in the order list. The order screen opens.
  3. If the order is open in the side panel, you can also click the pencil.

The order screen shows everything about one order. Here you follow up and change the order after it has been created. You see who drives, the stops, the goods, and what the order costs and earns.

What you change here carries on to the driver, to the invoice and to the resource settlement, meaning what the resource gets paid. So get to know the screen well before you correct anything.

Key terms

Parked / ReadyA parked order is still being prepared. It cannot be sent to a driver, and it is not included in invoicing. «Ready» means the order can be sent and driven.
SummaryThe figures at the top of the screen: revenue, VAT, total, amount to resource and goods quantity.
Price lineOne line in the prices. The left side is what the customer pays. The RES. columns (RES. stands for resource) are what the resource gets.
Ready to invoiceThe switch that says the price has been checked. Once all stops are completed, the order is included in the next invoicing.
ToolbarThe row of buttons at the top, with everything around the order: assets, deviations, files, printing, copy and log.

Trainer notesOnly shown when trainer mode is on
  • Administrators need this screen to understand where the fields come from: service type, vehicle type and prices are controlled by the registers and the price setup.
  • Common support case: "the order wasn't on the invoice". Check Ready to invoice and that the price is set.
