Goals and why

What you will learn

  • pick the right report in the Reports menu based on the question you need to answer
  • read revenue per customer, per month and per service type with Overview Report and Turnover Report
  • follow up delivery precision per driver and find the deliveries that were late
  • use the dashboard to see margin, orders and driver figures on one page

The reports are how the managing director, finance and dispatchers see how things are going. How much have we earned this month? Which customers and services make money? Do deliveries arrive on time?

The reports only read the figures. Generate Report changes nothing, so you can safely try things out. The key is knowing what the figures count: revenue is counted by the order's pickup time, and credit notes are subtracted. If you compare with the accounts, which count by invoice date, the figures will often differ a little.

Key terms

Generate ReportThe button that builds the report from the filter. It only reads the figures and changes nothing.
Select datesThe period the report covers. Orders are counted by their pickup time, the time in Pickup after.
Net RevenueRevenue after credit notes are subtracted.
To resourceThe part of the order price that goes to the driver or subcontractor.
Delivered in timeThe delivery stop is signed off as completed no later than the order's latest delivery time (Deliver before).
DashboardA page of key figures and charts, sorted into categories such as Finance and Drivers.

  • The menu item is called "Delivery precision resources", but the page itself is headed "Delivery precision drivers".
  • Common question: "revenue does not match the accounts". The reports count by the order's pickup time and subtract credit notes. Turnover Report with the type Total Revenue can switch to invoice date (Revenue Date Basis).
  • The dashboard needs module 59. Dashboards are built in the dashboard editor, which only super administrators can access. Access is controlled per user group.
